In Tuscany Weddings love nothing more than being a part of a couple’s wedding day. It is truly an honour to help plan, design and create such a special day.  Wedding elopements and micro-weddings are becoming increasingly popular. Hosting an Italian wedding with a small group of loved ones, allows you to spend quality time with each of your guests.

Our Swiss couple Janine and Oskar had planned a once-in-a-lifetime holiday and it was their dream to end this wonderful experience by getting married in a traditional Italian Villa, offering spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside.Choosing a Villa with the space to host both your ceremony and wedding dinner, is a fantastic choice for intimate weddings, and a firm favourite of ours. Keeping your wedding party together, allowing you to celebrate in your own private location without the disturbance of others. In Tuscany Weddings knew the perfect Villa to host Janine and Oskar’s wedding for 14 o f their closest friends and family.

We had a romantic colour palette of dusty rose, soft blush and cream paired with delicate gold detailing and subtle hints of green. Janine’s bouquet was made up of a variety of opulent blooms including white roses, sweet peach peonies and hydrangea. The bouquet was delicately tied together with cascading blush ribbons.

Janine wanted a look that was in keeping to her personality and style, nothing too elaborate or ‘over the top’, simple, elegant and sophisticated. The Tuscan Beauty Wedding team enhanced Janine’s natural beauty by providing a neutral lip, delicate winged eyeliner, and cascading tousled blonde curls that framed Janine’s beautiful face. A quote directly from Janine I have never felt so pretty in my whole life!’ and this was even without a hair and makeup trial before the big day.

Unfortunately, on the day of the wedding, storms were expected at the exact same time that Janine and Oskar were due to exchange their vows. Of course, In Tuscany Weddings have many years of experience fighting against the elements, we knew how to assure or bride and groom all would be fine. Janine & Oskar were in safe hands and did not have to worry, they instantly felt relaxed and calm, trusting our experience would ensure that they would have the perfect day. Luckily, the weather was kind to us and Janine & Oksar’s civil wedding ceremony took place in the grounds of the Villa, surrounded by the sprawling Tuscan countryside. There was a special moment between our precious couple as Oskar saw Janine for the first time, A stunning floral arch draped with blush organza created the backdrop during their ceremony, framing our charming bride and groom. The hazy afternoon light shone down on our newly married couple and their beloved friends and family.

Guests were serenaded by a saxophonist, providing the perfect ambience with soft jazzy tones. Ceremony songs included romantic favourites such as ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perry, ‘You Are The Reason’ by Calum Scott and the ever popular, ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran.

The wedding feast was hosted in the Villa courtyard, surrounded by hundreds of twinkling fairy lights. The tablescape design echoed a luxurious family Italian banquet, an expressive eucalyptus table runner trailed down the entire length of the table. Large open blooms such as roses and lisianthus were scattered throughout the arrangement in creams, blush and peach tones. To add a warm and intimate ambience, the dining table also boasted copper lanterns and florarium’s with flickering candles.

The entire day and the couples photo session was created by Tuscan based photographer Simone Miglietta. Simone beautifully captured Janine and Oskar’s intimate wedding, providing everlasting memories that can be enjoyed always.
